A special thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who hosted the kettles you are difference makers!

In celebration of a successful 2011 Kettle campaign TSA On The Coast is hosting a light luncheon for its kettle volunteers Sunday January 29th at 5-682 Gibsons Way (TSA offices at Sea View Plaza).

We will start the celebration at 1pm.  All kettle volunteers are invited.  Please email tsa_web@telus.net or phone me at my home office 604 886-0088 to confirm your attendance.

We are very grateful to all of the community members who filled the kettles with donations.  It is because of the generous support of our donors we are able to continue to provide vital community services on the Sunshine Coast.

Community Crisis Response Unit

TSA continues with their commitment to the Sunshine Coast by training with 1st responders to provide mobile canteen service volunteers for The Emergency Disaster Services van. In addition, in the event there is a natural disaster TSA volunteers are trained to provide meals to the community from the EDS van.

Extreme Weather Emergency Shelter

In extreme weather cases, we want to see all who have no fixed address keep warm, safe, and secure. We open the shelter in Sechelt (at St. Hilda's) from 9pm to 8am when these circumstances occur until the spring of 2011.
